Directions: Leave Belo Horizonte on BR-040 towards Rio de Janeiro, proceed approximately 20 kilometers to the Alphaville interchange, and take BR-356 (also known as the Rodovia dos Inconfidentes) towards Ouro Preto and Mariana for approximately 80 kilometers to Mariana. At the intersection of BR-356 and MG-262, take MG-262 (Rodovia dos Inconfidentes) east for approximately 1.7 kilometers. The Mariana Bus Terminal (Rodoviário) will be on your right.
Take the first left on Rua Antonio Pacheco de Moraes. Proceed for approximately one kilometer where the street becomes Rua Dom Silvério. Continue on Rua Dom Silvério for about 600 meters where the street becomes Rua Josefa Macedo, continue for approximately another 100 meters and turn right on Rua Avenida Salvador Furtado. Proceed for 200 meters. You will see the entrance to the parking garage (with access to the pousada) in front of you as the road bears to the left and becomes Rua Zizinha Camello. The Pousada Contos de Minas entrance is at #15 on the right.
